Adobe Announces Digital Design Templates for Government

Adobe  unveiled the Adobe Digital Design Templates for Government, an open source package that enables public sector website managers to quickly deploy U.S. Digital Service and 18F draft U.S. Web Design Standards using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).

Features include:

  • Ability to create standards-compliant, responsive, accessible sites that leverage the latest web design trends and enable agile project development
  • 18F-compliant theme components, page templates, styles, user-centered design and more
  • Compatibility with Adobe Experience Manager, an industry-leading web content management system built with open development principles, which is the first FedRAMP-authorized cloud service for web content management

Adobe Digital Design Templates for Government enable users to build web content compliant with the draft standards set forth by USDS and 18F, allowing for a seamless integration of these new standards and components.

“Working with the USDS and 18F U.S. Web Design Standards has been a fantastic opportunity to see how our digital government tools can create consistent and beautiful user experiences across government websites,” said Brian Paget, Technical Director for Public Sector at Adobe. “Adobe and 18F both believe in enabling user-centric design, agile development and open standards and I look forward to seeing the new web content and digital experiences created using the Adobe Digital Design Templates for Government.”

These templates are available through the Adobe Marketing Cloud GitHub and Adobe Package Share.
